This is based on diet prescribed for pre-diabetic. I went on it anyway and your Dr will know if it’s ok.
In general if you look at carbs on packets you need to see that they are low or zero per 100 grams
For breakfast I mostly have either
Co yo and fruit and raw almonds
Or shake with 1 scoop of white wolf vegan protein powder and vitamin c powder and frozen mixed berries and 2 cups of unsweetened almond milk. Blended with a hand blender and sprinkled with cinnamon and nutmeg
Or an omelette with any fillings eg cheese, mushrooms, onions, capsicum etc
Or scrambled eggs and mushrooms
Or boiled eggs and spinach
For lunch I have iceberg lettuce and fillings. Like it’s bread
For fillings I have a mix out of any combination below:
Jarlsberg cheese, turkey, ham, baby tomatoes, coleslaw( Coles vege mix with Hellman’s mayonnaise)
Egg mayonnaise(recipe below)
For dinner I have
Iceberg lettuce and meat sauce
( like a taco or chicken provincale) or roast with cauliflower cheese
Egg mayo
Boil 5 eggs for 10 mins
Peel eggs and chop then add
White pepper and nutmeg
Cauliflower cheese
Melt Butter on a low temperature
Add 1 large spoonful of cornflour
Add milk gradually
Then add cream at end
Cook for 6 mins
Poured over sauce then add Parmesan
Then in oven for 20-30 mins
